Production Process

The production of this green tea starts with selecting the finest top leaves and buds from each plant. The fresh leaves are promptly transported to a processing facility to prevent oxidation. At the factory, they are briefly placed in troughs before being treated with dry heat in an enzyme machine. This process removes moisture and minimizes oxidation, preserving the leaves’ green color and enhancing their smoky and nutty flavors.

Following rolling, the leaves rest and cool to develop their final buttery and toasty notes. This resting period is crucial and requires precise timing from the tea maker. Unlike black tea, green tea avoids oxidation, maintaining its fresh and delicate characteristics.
